Sammons Trucking started in 1962 hauling lumber and exempt commodities between the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. Over the years we aggressively added to our commodity and territorial base until the industry was deregulated in the early 1980s.At that time, we became a nation-wide carrier of general commodities specializing in flatbed freight. Sammons is strictly an owner operator company (including privately owned fleets). We have expanded our trailer capacity to include steps, double drops and RGNs, in addition to our base of flatbeds.
