Lease Purchase
As a new operator at Sammons, you may qualify to lease-purchase a Sammons power unit. Features of Sammons' lease-purchase program include:
- No down payment.
- No monthly or weekly fixed payment.
- Expected truck earnings - $10,000 per month.
$2,000 Performance Escrow required - may be accumulated at a rate of no less than 2% of truck earnings.
During the term of the lease-purchase agreement:
- Driver may draw (for personal use) up to 26% of truck earnings on freight hauled, inclusive of 2% escrow deduction. Up to 40% of draw amount is available as soon as truck is loaded. Balance of draw (less escrow deduction) is available upon receipt of load paperwork in Missoula.
- All truck operating costs, including fuel, repairs, tires, trailer rent, insurance, licensing, etc. and finance charge are deducted, as incurred, from truck earnings. When earnings exceed draws and operating costs, the excess is used to pay down the balance owed on the truck.
All lease-purchase candidates must show appropriate progress during first 90 days in the program or Sammons reserves the right to terminate the lease-purchase agreement.
